National Birth Centers, Inc is dedicated to making the billing process as easy and convenient as possible. We are here to help make sure you receive the full benefits of your insurance coverage.
Bring your health insurance card to your visit, along with any secondary insurance information, if applicable. If you are not the subscriber of the insurance covering your services, we will need the date of birth and social security number of the policy holder. If your information as changed since your last visit, please let our team members know so that we can update our records. We want to help you utilize your insurance benefits for the care you receive. We verify your insurance benefits prior to services being rendered and will provide you with a copy of your estimate. This will give you an overview of your coverage. Each patient is required to pay on her account at every visit.
Patients are required to pay the remaining deductible for the year and co-insurance based on a general plan of care. We do not allow insurance companies to dictate the course of treatment to our patients. Rest assured that we will recommend a treatment plan that is appropriate for your diagnosis regardless of what your insurance might or might not reimburse.
Insurance is a contract between the patient, the insurance company, and the employer. We are made a party to your insurance contract through legal documents you sign when you begin care. If the insurance, as a fiduciary, fails to fulfill its financial responsibility, we file suit against them.
You will receive an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from your insurance company that lists the services provided, the amount billed, any insurance payments made, and your responsibility.
The care and convenience doesn’t stop when you walk out our doors. It can continue at home through the option to pay your bill through our online payment portal. Just ask us to send you a link to sign up.
The online bill pay portal allows you to communicate with us securely and confidentially. With our online bill pay portal, you’ll be able to:
- View your billing statement and balance.
- Make secure credit card payments.
- Send messages and billing inquiries.
